As of the end of October, there were 1,667 residential listings in Saskatoon and a further 894 in the surrounding areas.  Year to date, Saskatoon has seen 7,467 listings hit the market, up 41% from the same time last year.  Areas 6-9 have seen 2,375 listings come onto the market, up 68% from 2007.  There have been 3,182 residential sales in Saskatoon this year, down 19% from 2007 (but up 4.5% from 2006).  In Areas 6-9 there have been 815 sales, down 13% from a year ago (up 19% from 2006).
